In Texas in 2008, Egg White will be the new Cosmo. Or Appletini, or something else that's tired, since we are a few years behind the civilized world. Actually, I think egg whites are too far out for Texas--just give us something with pomegranate instead...
You are so right with your prediction. In fact, I'm featuring a vinegar cocktail soon...
New York magazine had their annual list of trends they wanted to see over, and egg white drinks was on it. I think it's a little early (even in NYC) to call it played out.
how about a fruit gastrique? aka vinegar, wine, fruit reduction.
