This week's blogging is all going to be about San Francisco Cocktail Week, so get used to it!
Last night was the opening event at Le Colonial (the former site of a Trader Vic's, if you don't know). I was worried about attendance at this first event since it was a Monday and all, but I shouldn't have been. There were so many people they ran low on (but not out of) booze by the end of the night. Luckily the last remaining drink was the Mary Pickford that I was loving.
They also served a Pisco Punch, (one other drink I'm blanking on), and the official drink of SF Cocktail Week, the Barbary Flip. For batched cocktails, they were all pretty darn delicious.
Knowing I had a big day today of working, I skipped the after-party at 15 Romolo. Did you go?
