Vodka, Tequila, Etcetera

In today's Washington Post, Jason Wilson takes up the concept of "tequila is the new vodka," referencing this post on Alcademics from June.  

I brought up the idea more from a product perspective- looking at the endless copycat ultrapremium tequilas launching, whereas Wilson looked at it from a cultural perspective: Now vodka is getting tired and D-List celebrities are taking it on, while A-List celebs are taking on tequila.
