Cocktail Menu: Jimmy at The James in New York City

Here is the menu from Jimmy, a bar on the 18th story of the James hotel in SOHO, NYC.

I see: pumpernickel salt, cinnamon ice block, and one drink with beer, moonshine, orgeat, and Coke. What?

It's hard to guess how these drinks taste from the menu as there are a lot of sweet flavors involved but a delicate hand can work wonders. Let me know if you've been there.

aird's Applejack, Bison Grass Vodka, lime, cranberry juice with a splash of gingerale, garnished with an apple slice and thyme $17

Crop Organic Cucumber Vodka, St Germain Elderflower Liquor, muddled green grapes with lemon and flamed rosemary $16

RYE & HONEY 
Michter's Rye, honey syrup, lemon juice, poured over a grilled frozen lemon and sage. Pure simplicity $16

LOLITA
Herradura Silver Tequila, Cointreau, agave nectar, chocolate bitters and freshly muddled tangerine with shaved espresso bean $16

GINGERED GIN ALE
Beefeater Dry London Gin, Canton Ginger Liquor, muddled ginger, lime, mint and gingerale. $16

RED DEVIL SWIZZLE
Flor De Cana Rum, Luxardo Morlacco Cherry Liquor, and guava puree.  Swizzled to frosty perfection with crushed ice.  $17

PASS THE DUTCHIE
Nolet Gin & Bols Genever mixed together with muddled mint and oregano, with pineapple juice and a splash of tonic. Garnished with a “bud” of oregano. $18

LEGAL IN VERMONT
Knob Creek Bourbon with organic Vermont maple syrup, muddled shiso and orange bitters poured over a cinnamon ice block $17

THE MATADOR
Milagro Reposado Tequila, Ilegal Mescal, agave nectar, lime and a splash of ginger beer with fresh pressed pomegranate $17
