Inauguration Events in San Francisco
Inauguration Ball at The Bubble Lounge
Toast one of the more talked about Inauguration ceremonies at The Bubble Lounge on Tuesday January 20, 2009 for the SF version of the “Inauguration Ball”. The ceremony and speech will be rebroadcast at 6:00PM at The Bubble Lounge on a big screen. Enjoy a celebratory champagne drink special before the broadcast while taking a look at Scout Tufankjian’s new book: “Yes We Can: Barack Obama’s History-Making Presidential Campaign”.
Scout Tufankjian is the only independent photographer to cover Obama’s entire campaign. “Yes We Can” is an intimate portrait of the campaign that follows Obama from coffee shops and diners through to the final weeks of the hard-fought campaign. “Yes We Can” features 200 of the 12,000 photographs taken from before Obama announced his campaign through the Election Night celebration in Chicago’s Grant Park. A showcase of these photos will also be presented on the big screen at The Bubble Lounge, and a limited number of copies of her book will be available for purchase.
