Hey Camper, this is a good reference in general - thanks for pointing it out. Contrary to what it says, though, I find that vermouth does not last 5-6 months, even when refrigerated. I tend to see it start to go after 1-2 months, in some cases sooner.

Vermouth open for 5 to 6 months? What a disgrace. Do you have a hall of shame for folks like this?

Vermouth once opened starts to oxidize like any other wine. Absent gassing the bottle (a good practice), refrigerated dry should be replaced in a week, rouge in two.
