Still Creamy?
July 01, 2009
This site features expiration information for food and more importantly, beverages.
StillTasty.com will tell you how long that Amarula cream liqueur will last once it's opened. Also, lime cordial, Margarita mix, mescal, port, sake schnapps, tonic water, and vermouth.
Hey Camper, this is a good reference in general - thanks for pointing it out. Contrary to what it says, though, I find that vermouth does not last 5-6 months, even when refrigerated. I tend to see it start to go after 1-2 months, in some cases sooner.

Totally agree with you on the vermouth.

Vermouth open for 5 to 6 months? What a disgrace. Do you have a hall of shame for folks like this?
Vermouth once opened starts to oxidize like any other wine. Absent gassing the bottle (a good practice), refrigerated dry should be replaced in a week, rouge in two.
