Gather 'Round this Water Cooler Cocktail

I was sent a press release about a new drink in an awesome format I felt compelled to share.

At Park Avenue Autumn (a restaurant that changes completely seasonally so it's sometimes called Park Avenue Summer, etc.) they serve a cocktail in a water cooler - so depending on which dispenser knob you push you can have it either hot or cold.

The cocktail is called the Water Cooler Toddy, and it's fairly simple in construction: homemade mulled apple cider (apple cider plus cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, allspice, grains of paradise, nutmeg, brown sugar), plus lemon and bourbon.

The bartender provides you with a garnished cup and you serve yourself a hot or cold version of the cocktail. I love the concept and I very well may borrow the idea to use for events!
