Air-Conditioned Cocktail Bars in San Francisco

It's unusual to have air conditioned bars in foggy San Francisco, outside of hotels. So when it gets hot (if you don't live here, "unbearably hot" is > 80F) people get weird and desperate.

Which bars in San Francisco have air conditioning?  Here's what I've found so far (updated September 2019):

  • Absinthe
  • Bear Vs. Bull
  • Benjamin Cooper
  • Blackbird
  • Clock Bar
  • Forgery ("is nice and cool inside with or without A/C")
  • Ginger's
  • The Interval
  • Laszlo
  • Pabu
  • Parallel 37
  • Press Club
  • Rye ("We try to keep it at around 68/70")
  • The Saratoga
  • Michael Mina
  • Trailblazer Tavern
  • Corridor
  • The Vault
  • Ayala
  • Obscenity Bar & Lounge at Hotel Emblem
  • Cold Drinks
  • True Laurel
  • August (1) Five
  • Bon Voyage
  • Last Rites
  • Woodbury and Alchemist
  • Local Edition
  • Liholiho Yacht Club [closed temporarily]
  • Wildhawk
  • Piano Fight
  • School Night
  • Bellota

East Bay

  • Here's How, Oakland
  • Hello Stranger, Oakland
  • Hangar One, Alameda
  • Hotsy Totsy, Albany
  • Bull Valley Roadhouse

Let me know if you know of any more.
