Google has released their annual Year in Search data and the PR company was kind enough to highlight the drink searches for me. 

These are  top trending searches in the U.S., which means the “trending” queries are the searches that had a high spike in traffic over a sustained period in 2022 as compared to 2021.

They are not the “top searches” or “most searched,” according to the press release, but trending topics.

I'm annoyed that the New York Times got the Dirty Shirley trending!
